I've spent 16 years leading congregations from the stage and running services from the booth: guitar and vocals on Sunday morning, Ableton and ProPresenter behind the scenes, and volunteer teams built from the ground up.
From Sunday mornings to student worship nights, congregational singing comes first.
I can lead a band, mix it, and run the screens,
lights and stream behind it.
From volunteering in the tech booth as a teenager to serving as a worship pastor.

I mix modern hymns, refreshed classics, and current worship songs, and every lyric has to line up with the Gospel.
Musical influences: CityAlight, Matt Boswell & Matt Papa, Shane & Shane / The Worship Initiative, Phil Wickham, Elevation Rhythm, Citizens, River Valley Worship, Passion, and Dustin Kensrue.
Every song is chosen for what it says about God — and on conviction, there is popular worship music I won't use, because the lyrics have to line up with the Gospel.
Worship comes about when one turns their gaze from self to the Creator.
The purpose of the music component of worship is to point people to Jesus, our atonement, and our access to God. The aim is to worship in spirit and in truth.
Shaped by the teaching of Bob Kauflin (Worship Matters) and Paul Baloche (Leading Worship).
